This coffee comes from the Refisa washing station, located in the heart of the Nensebo woreda. Here, 678 farmers supply coffee cherries from the areas of Refisa, Roricho, Bulga, and Riripa. This processing facility is situated in the Oromia region, approximately 400 km south of the capital, Addis Ababa.

The Nensebo woreda is composed of smallholders who collectively manage about 5,000 hectares of coffee plantations. On average, each farm covers only two hectares.

This particular lot of coffee comes from the regions of Roricho, Bulga, and Solena. Farmers bring their cherries to the station where they undergo a sorting process to remove defects, then they are washed and soaked for 5 hours, fermented for 72 hours, and finally dried on raised beds for 8 to 10 days until reaching a residual moisture content of 10.5%.
