ETHIOPIA - GUJI SHAKISO (Arrival -> January 2025)

This coffee comes from the Shakiso district, in the Guji area of Oromia. This unique region is home to a rich biodiversity. The lowlands are mainly devoted to pastoralism, while the highlands, with altitudes ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 meters, offer ideal conditions for growing coffee.

The region receives an average of 900 mm of rainfall per year and enjoys an average temperature of 22.5°C.

Coffee is grown by 2,700 men and women, who together manage 5,000 hectares of coffee plantations.
